Where Creativity Comes Home to the South of France
The Côte d'Azur has always drawn artists. Matisse found his light here. Picasso called it home. Chagall painted the Mediterranean sky until it glowed. There's something about this corner of the world — its warmth, its beauty, its particular quality of golden afternoon — that has always made people want to make things.
Joie de Vivre Creative Retreats was born from that same spirit. We're a residential retreat center in the Alpes-Maritimes, designed for adults who are ready to give their creative lives the time, space, and support they deserve.
Our approach is rooted in both art and science. Our programming draws on decades of research into the science of creativity and learning styles — including the groundbreaking work explored in The Creative Brain — woven together with evidence-based psychological coaching and mentorship. We believe creativity isn't a talent you either have or don't. It's something you cultivate. And we know how to help you do that.
