Meet Sarah E. Nehdi
I’ve been a therapist for almost a decade and while I’m based in Western North Carolina, I am licensed in multiple states and meet via telehealth for your convenience. I strive to be warm, validating, and honest, helping you rediscover your values, and find joy in your identity. Joie de vivre, after all, is about finding joy in the life we create for ourselves. I’m a sucker for the color blue, SNL cast members breaking character, a super laminated croissant, and a bouquet of fresh flowers in my kitchen. I’m a proud elder millennial and I love a good pun. If we work together, you’re more than likely to meet my golden retriever, Teddy, who is the absolute goodest boy imaginable (and no, i’m not biased — I only used peer-reviewed methodologies in my practice ;).
The things that bring me joy are hearing a client say, “huh… I’ve never thought about it that way!”, traveling to familiar places that give me a sense of peace and contentment, exploring new destinations that fill me with wonder and awe, and watching my dog unsuccessfully chase his tail.
